A Great Fisherman

This is the perfect example of a great fisherman and a wonderful example of a human being. I wish that we all aspired to be like him.

This Grander +/- 1,150 lb marlin was released yesterday around 45 miles west of the Tropic Star lodge.

The fish was caught by J. Richardson aboard the Picaflor, a 43ft Merritt. The grander was caught on 50lb tackle.

Bear in mind that the current IGFA world record stands at 1,124 lbs.

If he had killed this magnificent fish and taken it back to prove his catch, he may have very likely been the new world record holder.

Mr J.Richardson, you are an inspiration to us all and I salute you.
