These Garrick fish were caught off a boat and the photos were sent into South Coast Fishing. Thanks to Algy for sharing.

Plenty Garrick are being caught on the South Coast. I heard of one at Orange Rocks and One at Potholes yesterday. Dave, who caught a Garrick at Potholes missed a second one, when his sinker got stuck. The fish managed to free itself whilst Dave was struggling to break his sinker line.

He lives to fight another day, good for him.  Sad for Dave !!

I have been out of action for the last week or so, firstly with some nasty flu and then catching up on all the work that I missed.  I am going to JHB tomorrow for a meeting and will be back in the late evening.

This weekend, for certain, I will be fishing.

Hopefully I will have my new camera by then and I can take some photos and video again.

It is on the way from China, being delivered by DHL. It is the first time that I have ever bought anything directly from China and I have to say that I am very, very impressed. You can track your order, from the time that you place it, till it is delivered. This camera takes 3-5 days to be delivered and it only cost me just over R1000 including delivery by DHL
