Kob caught off Orange Rocks

I had my best buddy Haigh, down for the weekend and I really thought that we would get stuck into something nice; especially after my nice pull the other evening.

Unfortunately Mother Nature had other ideas and we were blown out the whole weekend.

We did manage to get in a few hours on Saturday, but except a 15kg Kob, that was caught on dead caranteen in the morning – there were no more fish caught (over 25cm) the entire day.

We fished off Orange Rocks, which is in Uvongo – which is next door to Margate, Kwazulu Natal in South Africa.

Here is a video of the conditions.

As you can see the wind was really blowing, but we had fun anyway. Hopefully later this week, the conditions will improve and I can catch a fish as it has been far too long now.

Here is a photo of the Kob that was caught in the morning. (Visit SouthCoastFishing.co.za and see more photos)
